At RIDE, you’ll meet people who have explored the world on a motorcycle—and share their experiences with you. On site!
Between the rides, bikes, and festival atmosphere, there’s also room for what motorcycling is really all about: experiences, perspectives, and connection.
Our talks and workshops bring travelers, adventurers and experts to the stage—personal, authentic and approachable. And this year, they’re free to attend.
Hear stories from people who cross borders on their motorcycles—both geographical and mental.
Featuring, among others:
Presented by partners such as Rev’it! and Royal Enfield.
In addition to the presentations, we offer hands-on workshops on:
Just as exciting for beginners as it is for experienced riders.
Want to set off on your own? Travel providers like zebrafari will also be on site, offering brief insights on stage into guided motorcycle tours and adventures around the world.
It’s the perfect opportunity to gather new ideas or start planning your next adventure right away.
We’ll post the detailed program and all times here shortly before the event.

In addition to spectacular riding demonstrations, Kevin offers on Friday fascinating insights into his participation in the legendary Africa Eco Race. Kevin Gallas became the first German motorcycle rider to claim the overall victory in the Africa Eco Race. This triumph at Lac Rose in Senegal was achieved aboard a near-stock Yamaha Ténéré 700. He has to leave on Saturday to participate at the Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro Rallye.
The annual Schnaggei Meet-Up takes place in the heart of Ruhpolding, coinciding with the RIDE event. In Bavarian dialect, "Schnaggei" refers to very old motorcycles and mopeds, some even over 50 years old.

With borders still partially closed in the aftermath of the pandemic, Mario Steiner and his friend Matej refuse to let that stop them from setting off on a motorcycle adventure like no other. Their overland expedition covers 20,000 km from Germany through Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, and Nepal all the way to the Mt. Everest Base Camp.
In spring 2022, after two years of pandemic, the two became the first overland motorcyclists to cross the border between Pakistan and India.
Can a lightweight adventure bike make up for the missing roads to Mt. Everest? What happens when you run out of water in the hottest desert on earth? How do you survive the worst food poisoning since the invention of eating? At RIDE, we'll join them on their journey across the Himalayas.
